Scandinavian crackers are filling, tasty and nutritious and remove excess dampness from the digestive tract.
They contain many minerals and vitamins, as well as fibre, which aids digestion and bowel function.
You can easily make them any way you like, savoury or sweet.
- 32 heaping spoonfuls of oat bran
- 8 heaped tablespoons of dinkel or diccocum wheat flour
- 80 g of nuts or seeds of your choice (almonds, hazelnuts, sesame seeds, linseeds)
- 1 cup of water to mix the mixture
- ½ teaspoon salt
For a savory taste: you can add olives, sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, capers, or whatever you like.
For a sweet taste: grate 1 apple and add raisins, cinnamon and a little agave syrup.
Tip: You can enjoy them plain or combine them with artichoke dip, feta dip, guacamole or any dip of your choice.
